Equipping Saints, Reaching Souls, and Glorifying God
At First Baptist Church of Monroe, ministry is more than programs—it’s people serving people for the glory of God. From teaching children to encouraging seniors, from building up believers to reaching out to our community, our ministries are centered on God’s Word and shaped by the love of Christ. Whether you're looking to grow in your faith, serve others, or find a place to belong, there's a ministry for you to connect with and be part of what God is doing in and through our church family.
Some of the Ways We Serve
We serve people both near and far—because of Christ, through His Spirit, and for God's glory. Our ministries are not about earning favor with God, but about joyfully responding to the grace we’ve received. From hearts of gratitude, we seek to love others, expand God's kingdom, and share the hope of salvation with a world in need.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
—Ephesians 2:10
